WHISKERED AWAY: A STORY OF A CAT-INSPIRED BRIDAL SHOWER

It is Tidewater and Tulle‘s first blogiversary today, and it’s been an incredible year for the new Hampton Roads wedding blog. As the editor, I had no idea it would take off as quickly as it did. And as a gal of determination, I’m just plum humbly proud. Industry friends with heart, talent, and passion make up our local southeastern Virginia wedding community; these are the dream makers, and it’s great to be able to showcase this now and in the years to come.

One of my favorite memories from the past year with Tidewater and Tulle is hands down our modern cat-inspired bridal shower, and not because Jessica‘s cake went viral on Pinterest! I mean, come on. Who wouldn’t squeal over seeing her two furbabies in a photo shoot?! Pickles Barrington and Marmalade O’Hoolihan made their modeling debut in a creative vision that squeezed fellow cat moms’ and wedding pros’ hearts everywhere.

With a Bloody Meowy bar, polka dots, bowties, quirky kitty-like florals, it was just one feel-good day surrounded by joy and hilarity. Leave it to the cat fanatics to dream up something playfully gorgeous and call it Whiskered Away. Chic sophistication never looked so adorable.
