Their original adventure together began here in Hampton Roads at a new teacher orientation luncheon. A librarian girl with a recent relocation from Boston and a teacher boy with a love of Beantown sports, a conversation was bound to happen. So God nudged some scenes along, and as soon as they knew it, first comes love, then comes marriage… and now finally then comes baby in the baby carriage. After years of faith-filled prayers, Morgan and Bruce’s little miracle finally was given to them.

These two are no strangers to wanting something completely unique and personal when it comes to big moments (hello, adorable retro library card baby announcement!), so with a love of the Kentucky Derby via Morgan’s family roots in their new hometown of Des Moines, they imagined a day at the Derby at their local horse race track for their maternity lifestyle session.

Their future little nugget’s gender is remaining a surprise to even them until the big day so a sweet, neutral vibe was the perfect touch for these two. From trifectas to quinellas, I know we can all agree that this baby’s soon-to-be arrival will be the best kind of win yet. 🙂
